Vanity Trove for August 2012

Rocket Science Vanity Trove
Finally my vanity trove for the month of Aug arrived! Now, don't be so shocked that it came so late.. It's not Vanity Trove's fault, as I didn't subscribe to the August Trove initially, but after reading the hints that Sampar and Origins will be featured in this round, I decided to purchase it as a backorder (Vanity Trove allows you to purchase Trove that you have missed at a slightly more expensive price, provided stock is available).

After reading all the good stuff of Sampar from everbluec and Origins Plantscription Family from sugarcrumb, I am so eager to try them out! I was praying so hard that Vanity Trove would send me the eye cream from Origins as I am starting to get fine lines under my eye, and from readings, Origins Anti-aging eye cream is supposed to diminish the appearance of crow's feet, reduce under eye cross hatching, smooth creepy lids and visibly lift and firm eye skin.

Thank god Vanity Trove heard my prays and included the eye cream in the box! Apart from that, they sent me the Morillins Eye Therapy Mask as well. Time to give my eyes a treat :D

Here's what's in my August Trove:

  1. Sampar Poreless Magic Peel, Glamour Shot and Equalizing Foam Peel
  2. Morillins Eye Therapy Mask
  3. Oxypad
  4. Brands Innershine Berry Essence with Grape Seed Extract & Brands Innershine Prune Essence (Both got great taste, but I am just a little concerned with the sweet taste. Is it alright to drink something so sweet on a daily basis?)
  5. Majorlica Majorca Eyes Reset Gel
  6. Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Nulberry Foaming Scrub
  7. Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Eye Cream
  8. Skin79 BB Cream
  9. Scottish Fine Soaps Company Au Lait Shower Gel
  10. Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover
  11. Zalora voucher
Once again, Vanity Trove has given me all the things I wanted. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!
*Note: Every box may differ slightly.

So what is in your box??

Sleek i-Divine Palettes

After learning of this brand called Sleek  some years ago, I have been trying to get my hands on their wonderful well pigmented, vivid colored and cheap eye palettes. Thanks to Luxola , I am able to enjoy products from Sleek without having to go through all the hassle of shipping it from UK. I first started out my collection with the Au Naturel palette, after which I went on to buy the Oh So Special from some blog sale. Just within a year, my Sleek eye palette collection grew and so I would like to share some swatches and thoughts of the palettes. The Body Shop Camomile Makeup Remover

The Body Shop has just launched a new series of makeup removers, comprising of two eye makeup remover, oil, butter and muslin cloth. All the products are made with Community Fair Trade Camomile Oil. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth, Waterproof Eye and Lip Make-up Remover Out of the five new products, I bought three to try, namely the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth and Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter comes in a metal tin which screws on/off. In the tin, it looks like a hard block of white butter. Germ phobes will definitely complain that this is the most unhygienic way of storage, and to overcome this problem, just use a spatula to scoop the butter up for use. My thoughts on the cleansing butter: I really love this cleansing butter! It smells super nice with a flowery scent, does not contain any mineral oil (ahem... I'm looking at you Faceshop &
