L'Oreal Infallibles Haul

My Collection of L'oreal Infallibles

Ok, call me crazy, did I actually really needed all these eyeshadow colors?? First I got the 004 Forever Pink, the texture is so smooth and creamy, and the colour payoff is "What you see is what you get" without any primer! I wore it out and it really lasted on my oily eyelids for the whole day with minimal creasing.

So when I saw them again at the Bugis BHG sale on 23rd June going on a 30% discount, how could I resist not getting more of these babies right? So I added 015 Flashback Silver and 014 Eternal Black to my small collection.

Then one day, I walked past the SASA at Marina Square, and I saw them at 50% discount! OMG, this is too good a deal to be missed, so I went to add on four more Infallibles into my collection - 006 All Night Blue, 005 Purple Obsession, 009 Permanent Kaki and 012 Endless Chocolat.

Here's the swatch:
From Top to Bottom: 004 Forever Pink, 009 Permanent Kaki, 015 Flashback Silver, 005 Purple Obsession, 006 All Night Blue, 014 Eternal Black, 012 Endless Chocolat
Yes, I am missing the Hourglass Beige, not just because it's sold out at the sale, but also cause my eyes just cannot carry off shimmery yellow shades (eyes tend to look puffy). Sad to say, the 50% discount is no longer available as SASA at Marina Square has closed down (yeah, it was their last day when I came across the sale).

Next on my wish list is Naughty Strawberry from the L'oreal Infallibles Cannes Collection. It seems to be very close in colour to Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in PK302 Magnolia, which has been on my mind for a looonnnggg while. Which one should I get?

New Aqualabel Collagen GL Cream

Aqualabel has recently launched a new product - Collagen GL Cream, at our local Watsons stores. What it does: Using Aqualabel’s exclusive Aqua Synergy technology, Collagen GL Cream is said to penetrate deeper into the skin layers and deliver moisture as well as effective ingredients into the skin while softening. Touted as a 5 in 1 gel cream, the Collagen GL Cream is supposed to be able to replace your lotion-emulsion-cream-essence-mask in one step ! Which means in one bottle, you get all the following functions: • Lotion-Softens the skin and prepares it for subsequent skincare • Emulsion-Balance the skin’s natural oil • Essence-Concentrated treatment of double hyaluronic acid and collagen to target dehydration and aging problems • Cream-Hydrating ingredients to retain moisture for long hours • Mask-Works as a sleeping mask to lock in the goodness of Collagen GL and Hyaluronic Acid when skin feels extremely dry. Sounds too good to be true isn't it? Imagine the...

The Little Black Beauty Box - Shiseido

Previously I bought a few boxes of Vanity Trove, but as I find the samples in Vanity Trove getting more and more uninteresting, I decided to look for other beauty boxes instead. After doing some research, I found the recently launched "The Little Black Beauty Box" (LBBB). A joint venture by mediacorp styleXstyle and Robinsons, each month, the LBBB delivers to your doorstep a box containing a variety of beauty products in a dedicated theme, all for just S$19.90 (free shipping in Singapore). Online reviews on the past boxes showed the boxes with reasonable sized samples from quite reputable brands, all for a lower price than Vanity Trove. So I decided to try out the August box which happens to be themed "Shiseido" a brand which I am a fan of. LBBB has a nice customer service which calls you up one week before delivery to confirm delivery timing, and finally after a long long wait (I order in early July), it finally arrived! Ribbon wrapped, the LBBB looks lik...
