Back by popular demand, Taiwanese Beauty Guru, Niu Er, will be back in Singapore to hold a Beauty Talkshow with Kose for the 3rd time! This time he is here to teach our ladies how to achieve youthful-looking skin.

Niu Er is known by many names in Taiwan - the ‘Beauty Google’, the ‘Heavenly-Level Skincare Expert’, and the ‘DIY Beauty Master’- just to name a few. He started as a curious 12 year-old boy, experimenting with beauty facial masks in his home kitchen. He then graduated from medical school, before radically plunging into the world of beauty.

It is after watching him on Taiwanese television programme "Nu Ren Wo Zui Da" - "Ladies First" which first got me into all the skincare hype and learning the need to take care of my skin. His flawless face is the testimony to all the effort he put in to take care of his skin. At the age of 40+, he looks as though he is 27 yrs old, full of energy, raring to go in the society.

The Little Black Beauty Box - Shiseido

Previously I bought a few boxes of Vanity Trove, but as I find the samples in Vanity Trove getting more and more uninteresting, I decided to look for other beauty boxes instead. After doing some research, I found the recently launched "The Little Black Beauty Box" (LBBB). A joint venture by mediacorp styleXstyle and Robinsons, each month, the LBBB delivers to your doorstep a box containing a variety of beauty products in a dedicated theme, all for just S$19.90 (free shipping in Singapore). Online reviews on the past boxes showed the boxes with reasonable sized samples from quite reputable brands, all for a lower price than Vanity Trove. So I decided to try out the August box which happens to be themed "Shiseido" a brand which I am a fan of.
