Sleek Pout Polish and Sigma Brushes

Thanks to Luxola's 30% Christmas sale, I was able to give myself a little beauty treat. Look at what I've got: a Sleek Makeup Pout Polish which I have been hankering over for ages, and two Sigma brushes!

My two first brushes from Sigma Beauty are simply love! The F15 Duo Fiber Powder/Blush brush is soft and perfect for a seamless and natural looking glow, as though I have airbrushed my blusher on. The E25 Blending brush is oval-shaped with gently chiseled sides, and it helps to blend and soften the look of eye shadows and harsh lines. Even though it is firmer, its very soft to touch and does not scratch my eyelids.

Sadly the F82 rounded kabuki brush was out of stock during the sale period, so till the next sale I shall have you!

Sleek Makeup Pout Polish in Electro Peach
Along with the brushes I have gotten the much famed pout polish lip conditioner from Sleek in Electro Peach. It is very smooth to apply, has lots of moisturizing oil such as jojoba, avocado and sweet almond oil to keep your lips conditioned, has SPF of 15 and gives a nice tint of colour. Even though it looks scarily loud and red in the pot, it applies on my lips as a nice coral tint. A downside to this lip conditioner is that it has a faint coconut scent to it (some people thinks its smells like vanilla though it smells like coconut to me), and you have to dig your fingers into the pot to get the balm (totally disgusting for clean freaks).

New Etude House Outlet at Clementi Mall

The Little Black Beauty Box - Shiseido

Previously I bought a few boxes of Vanity Trove, but as I find the samples in Vanity Trove getting more and more uninteresting, I decided to look for other beauty boxes instead. After doing some research, I found the recently launched "The Little Black Beauty Box" (LBBB). A joint venture by mediacorp styleXstyle and Robinsons, each month, the LBBB delivers to your doorstep a box containing a variety of beauty products in a dedicated theme, all for just S$19.90 (free shipping in Singapore). Online reviews on the past boxes showed the boxes with reasonable sized samples from quite reputable brands, all for a lower price than Vanity Trove. So I decided to try out the August box which happens to be themed "Shiseido" a brand which I am a fan of.
