1. Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel, 2. Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener W, 3. Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Emulsion W, 4. Bifesta Bright Up Cleansing Lotion, 5. Hadalabo Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion, 6. The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel, 7. Clinique Anti-blemish Solutions Spot Treatment Gel, 8. Bifesta Eye & Lip Makeup Remover, 9. Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Refreshing Eye Gel, 10. Shiseido The Skincare Day Moisture Protection, 11. Shiseido The Skincare Hydro-Nourishing Softener, 12. Estee Lauder Hydrationist
A whole list of emptied samples as I continued on my moisturizer search.

1. HydraQuench Cream-Gel from Clarins
This creamy gel promotes an immediate “cooling” effect that turns into water on contact with the skin. It is non-oily and leaves an invisible, silky film on the skin's surface upon application, but the matte finish is not lasting, and I find my face oiling up after two to three hours of application. Definitely a no go.

2. Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener W
Along with my sample of moisturizer came this softener from the same series. It is very light, hydrates the skin very well while gently exfoliating the face of debris and helps following skincare products to sink in.

3. Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Emulsion
A brightening daytime moisturizer with SPF15 and PA++. It's a white light weight emulsion that sinks into skin easily. Not sure if it is the presence of SPF, the moisturizer tends to leave an oily film on the face which I find unbearable.

4. Bifesta Bright Up Cleaning Lotion
A staple for my makeup removal routine. It's water based, cleanses waterproof makeup easily, and gives the option of not having to follow up with facial wash on lazy days. One product which I have repurchased countless times.

5. Hadalabo Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion
I find this version even more moisturizing than the Hydrating series. Leaves my skin soft and supple, and it's so moisturizing, a bottle lasted me well over 5 months.

6. The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel (Discontinued)
The mini size passion fruit shower gel which I bought from the last Body Shop warehouse sale. One of my favourite scent for shower gels from Body Shop. It has been discontinued all over Singapore. Why Body Shop why?!?!

7. Clinique Anti-blemish Solutions Spot Treatment Gel
A fast-drying clear gel that helps to reduce blemishes and promote healing. I usually like to use it on red bumps with visible white heads as it speeds up the drying process. Tends to sting a bit upon application.

8. Bifesta Eye & Lip Makeup Remover
A bi-phase makeup remover, which is cheap and good. I just need to pour a few drops of this remover on a cotton pad, and leave it over my eye for 10 secs, and all my waterproof eye makeup removes in one swipe. As with all makeup removers, do make sure you remove your contact lenses before makeup removal to avoid staining.

9. Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Refreshing Eye Gel
A light refreshing pinkish clear gel for the eye. So far the only eye cream from Clinique which did not give me millia seeds on the eye. Did not do anything for my fine lines though.

10. Shiseido The Skincare Day Moisture Protection
A daytime moisturizer specially formulated to provide optimal hydration and balance in skin while the SPF 15 helps to protect against UV rays. Personally, I find the moisturizer overwhelming and it leaves a sticky film on my skin instead of absorbing it.

11. Shiseido The Skincare Hydro-Nourishing Softener
I love how it hydrates and exfoliates my skin! I feel that my skin is smoother, clearer and more hydrated. It also aids the following skincare products to absorb better.

12. Estee Lauder Hydrationist
Smooth cream moisturizer with slight fragrance which gave me an initial velvety smooth skin. Skin around my nose stings a little when I apply, and after 1 week, my skin broke out. Sadly not for me.

Sleek i-Divine Palettes

After learning of this brand called Sleek  some years ago, I have been trying to get my hands on their wonderful well pigmented, vivid colored and cheap eye palettes. Thanks to Luxola , I am able to enjoy products from Sleek without having to go through all the hassle of shipping it from UK. I first started out my collection with the Au Naturel palette, after which I went on to buy the Oh So Special from some blog sale. Just within a year, my Sleek eye palette collection grew and so I would like to share some swatches and thoughts of the palettes. The Body Shop Camomile Makeup Remover

The Body Shop has just launched a new series of makeup removers, comprising of two eye makeup remover, oil, butter and muslin cloth. All the products are made with Community Fair Trade Camomile Oil. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth, Waterproof Eye and Lip Make-up Remover Out of the five new products, I bought three to try, namely the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth and Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter comes in a metal tin which screws on/off. In the tin, it looks like a hard block of white butter. Germ phobes will definitely complain that this is the most unhygienic way of storage, and to overcome this problem, just use a spatula to scoop the butter up for use. My thoughts on the cleansing butter: I really love this cleansing butter! It smells super nice with a flowery scent, does not contain any mineral oil (ahem... I'm looking at you Faceshop &
