Sleek i-Divine Palettes

After learning of this brand called Sleek some years ago, I have been trying to get my hands on their wonderful well pigmented, vivid colored and cheap eye palettes. Thanks to Luxola, I am able to enjoy products from Sleek without having to go through all the hassle of shipping it from UK. I first started out my collection with the Au Naturel palette, after which I went on to buy the Oh So Special from some blog sale. Just within a year, my Sleek eye palette collection grew and so I would like to share some swatches and thoughts of the palettes.

My Collection:
From left to right: 1.Snapshots, 2.PPQ Shangri-la Collection Respect, 3.Storm, 4.Au Naturel, 5.Oh So Special

Top row: 1.Storm, PPQ Shangri-la Collection Respect, 3.Oh So Special
Bottom row: 1.Snapshots, 2.Au Naturel

1. Bow, 2.Organsa, 3.Ribbon, 4.Gift Basket, 5.Glitz, 6.Celebrate, 7.Pamper, 8.Gateau, 9.The Mail, 10.Boxed, 11.Wrapped Up, 12.Noir
Oh So Special is one of my most reached for palette. The pinks in the palette are so pretty, can be played with a light hand for a girly touch or with a heavier hand mixed with browns to give a romantic look.

Au Naturel i-Divine Palette

From top to bottom: 1.Noir, 2.Regal, 3.Mineral Earth, 4.Bark, 5.Moss, 6.Conker, 7.Taupe
Another palette which has colors so natural and wearable for everyday work look. It's the palette I go for when I am in a rush and just need a dash of color on my eyes for some definition. I have only swatched the bottom row of the palette as the top row just wouldn't show up.

From left to right: 1. Gladys White, 2.James Brown, 3.Shalamar, 4.Count Basi Beige, 5.Aretha Orange, 6.Otis Red, 7.Roberta Black, 8.Vandellas, 9.Cameo Cream, 10.Motown Mink, 11.O'Jays, 12.New Jack Pink
The orange and pinks in this palette are simply to die for. Colors are bold, definitely not for the weak-hearted.

From left to right: 1.Summer Breeze, 2.Martini, 3.Kiwi Flower, 4.Lotus Flower, 5.Humming Bird, 6.Tequila Sunrise, 7. Sand Walker, 8.Washed Ashore, 9. Sunset, 10.Green Iguana, 11.Purple Haze, 12.Magenta Madness
A palette with eye-popping colors. I love the good mix of mattes and shimmery eye shadow colors.

Storm i-Divine Palette

From left to right: 1.Champagne, 2.Muted Silver, 3.Light Brown, 4.Biege Gold, 5.Pink Sheen, 6.Cranberry, 7.Bronze, 8.Gun Metal, 9.Forest Green, 10.Deep Blue, 11.Dark Brown, 12.Matte Black
I just love the metallic look of this palette. It's the palette I would go to for a stronger and edgy look. The colors in the bottom row helps to do smokey look really easily.

In general, the palettes from Sleek are really well made and really worth getting. Pigmentation of the eye shadows are really good, only the natural matte eye shadows are harder to pick up. The color selection and combination of each palette are nicely done, especially at such a cheap price (~SGD$20). Only complain that I have of the palettes is the recurring black eye shadow that appeared in four out of five palettes. Why would I need so many black eye shadows for, especially when I could have gotten another special color?

For those who lives in Singapore and is interested to get the Sleek palettes, here are some online sites that I have found to carry them:

The Body Shop Camomile Makeup Remover

The Body Shop has just launched a new series of makeup removers, comprising of two eye makeup remover, oil, butter and muslin cloth. All the products are made with Community Fair Trade Camomile Oil. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth, Waterproof Eye and Lip Make-up Remover Out of the five new products, I bought three to try, namely the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth and Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter comes in a metal tin which screws on/off. In the tin, it looks like a hard block of white butter. Germ phobes will definitely complain that this is the most unhygienic way of storage, and to overcome this problem, just use a spatula to scoop the butter up for use. My thoughts on the cleansing butter: I really love this cleansing butter! It smells super nice with a flowery scent, does not contain any mineral oil (ahem... I'm looking at you Faceshop &
