Shiseido foundation brush vs TheFaceShop foundation brush

In this post, I will be featuring two very similar looking foundation brush. Here we have the Perfect Foundation Brush from Shiseido versus the Lesson 01. Circle Face Brush from TheFaceShop.
Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush vs TheFaceShop Lesson 01. Circle Face Brush
Both brushes come in a simple plastic box packaging. Both brushes have short handle for precise control during application and portability for travel.

Comparing them side by side, you can see that the Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush is slightly shorter than TheFaceShop Circle Face Brush.

Looking at the brush from top down, Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush seems to be a tad denser than TheFaceShop Circle Face Brush.

Both brushes have their ends tilted at the same angle. TheFaceShop Circle Face Brush is slightly wider than Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush.

Overall, both brush are almost identical in their functionality as a brush for all foundation formula, liquid, cream or powder. Both brushes give excellent pick-up of all types of formulas for a uniform application and impeccable finish. Gently tapered strands create an angled slant that best allows bristles to reach all facial contours. Although very much similar, I find Shiseido's denser brush better as it is able to spread foundation more evenly and faster.

At S$18.90, I find TheFaceShop Circle Face Brush very much more cost friendly than the Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush (S$40). So for those who are on a budget, do go for the Circle Face Brush! It works just as well and is only half the price of the Shiseido brush. For those who are willing to spend more for quality, go for the Shiseido brush. You will be amazed at how one brush can make your foundation go the extra mile for flawless skin.

Sleek i-Divine Palettes

After learning of this brand called Sleek  some years ago, I have been trying to get my hands on their wonderful well pigmented, vivid colored and cheap eye palettes. Thanks to Luxola , I am able to enjoy products from Sleek without having to go through all the hassle of shipping it from UK. I first started out my collection with the Au Naturel palette, after which I went on to buy the Oh So Special from some blog sale. Just within a year, my Sleek eye palette collection grew and so I would like to share some swatches and thoughts of the palettes. The Body Shop Camomile Makeup Remover

The Body Shop has just launched a new series of makeup removers, comprising of two eye makeup remover, oil, butter and muslin cloth. All the products are made with Community Fair Trade Camomile Oil. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth, Waterproof Eye and Lip Make-up Remover Out of the five new products, I bought three to try, namely the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth and Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter comes in a metal tin which screws on/off. In the tin, it looks like a hard block of white butter. Germ phobes will definitely complain that this is the most unhygienic way of storage, and to overcome this problem, just use a spatula to scoop the butter up for use. My thoughts on the cleansing butter: I really love this cleansing butter! It smells super nice with a flowery scent, does not contain any mineral oil (ahem... I'm looking at you Faceshop &
