Yadah Lip Crayon

Thanks to a groupon special, I managed to get a set of 5-Piece Lip Crayon + Zipper Pouch by Yadah at $29.90 instead of the usual price of $62.30. There were three zipper pouch styles to choose from (Yellow, Green and Checkered) and I chose the green version.

1.Pink Tint, 2.Cherry Red, 3.Rose Pink, 4.Lovely Pink, 5. Fresh Orange

Made in Korea, these lip crayons gives off vivid, glossy colours, while keeping the lips moist. They are paraben free and contain vitamin C and E to keep lips soft and shiny. The colours are quite pigmented, especially the Cherry Red and Fresh Orange lip crayon, giving a loud red and bright orange on my lips. So until I learn how to wear such strong colors, I guess those two colors will be left untouched (any ideas on how to tone down the colours?).

My favourite of the lot, Pink Tint!
My favourite colour of the lot has to be the Pink Tint! It gives me a my lips but better look, is easy to apply (no need a mirror) and keeps my lips moisturized without the sticky and overly glossy feel. Only downside to these lip crayons is that I have to sharpen them every once in a while. How perfect it would be if they were automatic.

The Little Black Beauty Box - Shiseido

Previously I bought a few boxes of Vanity Trove, but as I find the samples in Vanity Trove getting more and more uninteresting, I decided to look for other beauty boxes instead. After doing some research, I found the recently launched "The Little Black Beauty Box" (LBBB). A joint venture by mediacorp styleXstyle and Robinsons, each month, the LBBB delivers to your doorstep a box containing a variety of beauty products in a dedicated theme, all for just S$19.90 (free shipping in Singapore). Online reviews on the past boxes showed the boxes with reasonable sized samples from quite reputable brands, all for a lower price than Vanity Trove.
