Elizabeth Red Door Coffret

Elizabeth Red Door Coffret
Thanks to OG sale, I was able to bag this nice 6 piece Elizabeth Red Door Coffret at just SGD$35.
Items included are: 1x red satin makeup pouch which you can absolutely carry around as a classy clutch, 1x face highlighter, 1x kabuki brush, 2x lipsticks, 1x fragrance.

Face highlighter
The face highlighter comes in a classy gold compact. It has a nice light touch of peach color and plenty of shimmers. Do use with a light hand to prevent becoming a disco ball.

Kabuki Brush
This Kabuki brush is what made me bought the whole set. The brush is very soft and dense, especially good for brushing powders and buffing it into your face.

Elizabeth Arden Lipstick
This lipstick is reddish brown and is great for nude makeup looks. Nothing too glaring here. I love the heavy weight gold metallic casing.

Elizabeth Arden Lipstick
Another lipstick from Elizabeth Arden. It comes in a red heavy metallic casing, and looks absolutely red in the tube. I was still thinking if I should give it away as I dislike strong lip colors (strong lip colors just emphasize on how small and thin my lips are), but decided to swatch it. Luckily I did as the color comes out as a totally wearable transparent red, instead of the usually thick opaque red which screams attention to my lips. Just a note, the lipsticks come with a strong Jasmine scent (something which I am not too fond of) and it does linger around for quite some time.

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Fragrance
I have saved the worst for the last. The Elizabeth Arden Red Door fragrance comes in a very nice classy glass bottle in their signature red, but the fragrance turns out to smell strongly of Jasmine, something which I dislike (okay to tell the truth, I hate it). So I have left it standing as a pretty decoration on my shelf instead.

Sleek i-Divine Palettes

After learning of this brand called Sleek  some years ago, I have been trying to get my hands on their wonderful well pigmented, vivid colored and cheap eye palettes. Thanks to Luxola , I am able to enjoy products from Sleek without having to go through all the hassle of shipping it from UK. I first started out my collection with the Au Naturel palette, after which I went on to buy the Oh So Special from some blog sale. Just within a year, my Sleek eye palette collection grew and so I would like to share some swatches and thoughts of the palettes. The Body Shop Camomile Makeup Remover

The Body Shop has just launched a new series of makeup removers, comprising of two eye makeup remover, oil, butter and muslin cloth. All the products are made with Community Fair Trade Camomile Oil. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth, Waterproof Eye and Lip Make-up Remover Out of the five new products, I bought three to try, namely the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Muslin Cloth and Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover. Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter comes in a metal tin which screws on/off. In the tin, it looks like a hard block of white butter. Germ phobes will definitely complain that this is the most unhygienic way of storage, and to overcome this problem, just use a spatula to scoop the butter up for use. My thoughts on the cleansing butter: I really love this cleansing butter! It smells super nice with a flowery scent, does not contain any mineral oil (ahem... I'm looking at you Faceshop &
