Previously I have bought a Hurraw! Vanilla Bean lip balm, and I loved it so much, I went on to buy another lip balm from their treatment series. Similar to all the lip balms by Hurraw!, the lip balms are made without beeswax.
Ingredients: Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, *Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, ***Euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, **Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, **Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil,
*Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, *Olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, *Argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, *Rosa rubiginosa (rosehip) seed oil, *Limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, Tocopherols (vitamin e), **Vanilla planifolia (vanilla) bean, ***Myroxylon balsamum (peru balsam) oil, Matricaria recutita (blue chamomile) flower extract
*cold pressed / organic **raw & organic ***wildcrafted
According to the Hurraw! website:
- Avocado oil is thick and vitamin rich, exceptionally high in Vitamins A & E. Highly recommended for sensitive and problem lips; rich in essential fatty acids.
- Rosehip Seed Oil helps to combats dry lips and has amazing anti-aging and rejuvenation properties. Proven to regenerate skin, reduce scars, knock out wrinkles and UV damage.
- Meadowfoam Seed Oil has amazing moisturizing and rejuvenating capabilities. Loves to adhere to lips making it a great assistant in preventing night time moisture loss.
- Argan oil is super restorative and perfect to use at night.
The Moon Balm is extra thick, creamy and rich, and it has some serious staying power. I keep it near my bedside and apply it at night before going to sleep. When I wake up in the morning, the lip balm is still there on my lips which is now soft and plump. Like the Vanilla bean lip balm, it has a similar caramel smell.
Sold at selected Watsons stores, the night treatment balm is slightly more expensive than the normal range (~S$13). Now I am tempted to get the Sun Balm for some SPF for the lips and also the tinted version! What do you think?
